A hand-rendered pelican illustration brings a playful, artful touch to your message with this Brown Pelican Card-an ideal greeting card for birthdays, thank-yous, or just because notes to someone who loves coastal charm. The card reads like a small watercolor print: a yellow-headed pelican with a red face and beak area, a striking black neck, and soft pink-toned body feathers set against a clean white background, so the recipient will feel delight at the unexpected, painterly detail.
Printed from an original watercolor by Pat Hutchins, this card feels like a miniature art gift-simple, naturalistic, and stylized rather than ornate. The loose, watercolor-like textures and limited palette (yellow, red, black, pink on white) let your handwritten message shine; it's the kind of card that looks great framed or tucked into a bouquet. Perfect for sending from Portland, OR, to brighten someone's day or accompany a floral delivery, this card arrives blank inside for your own note.
In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.
Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.
If any design elements are of major importance to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us to ensure availability.
